    Weekend Walks and Clear Heads

I’ve made a rule for weekends: no Slack, no email, no “just checking one thing.” It took months to build this habit, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for my mental health.

Instead, I walk. Long, aimless walks through the city or out to the countryside. There’s something about physical movement that untangles the mental knots of the week.

I come back to work on Monday with fresh eyes. Problems that seemed insurmountable on Friday often reveal their solutions after two days of not thinking about them at all.

Rest isn’t the opposite of productivity. It’s the foundation of it.
